All ELCA congregations are eligible to register for the Gathering. Congregations should select one adult to serve as the primary adult leader. The primary leader will coordinate registration, payments, transportation and rooming lists for the group. Youth who are in 8th to 12th grade at the time of registration (Fall 2021) are eligible to attend. Adult leaders must be at least 21 at the time of the Gathering. The recommended ratio is one adult for every seven youth.
Registration opens September 22, 2021 and closes May 22, 2022. Registration costs are dependent upon when you register.
A $150 nonrefundable, per-person deposit is due at time of registration and must be paid within the rate range you expect to pay. Registrations are not considered final until the $150-per-person, nonrefundable deposits have been received by the Gathering. Delaying payment may move you into a higher registration-fee bracket.
The Gathering will be utilizing a new housing and registration platform for the 2022 Gathering. Congregations that register during Early Bird will be entered into our Gathering Giveaway! Gathering leadership will go live on Facebook every Friday to draw a winner.
